Arrival Instructions:

- Arrival time for basic cadets is between 1200 and 1500 (Noon and 3pm) on Saturday, June 14th. Please arrive during this timeframe.

- You should arrive at encampment in BDUs.

- Please eat lunch before you arrive. The first meal of the day will be dinner.

- If you are flying into Gulfport/Biloxi International Airport, please re-confirm your flight times with Maj Diaz by calling or e-mailing him your flight information (228-861-4826 / JasonDiaz (at) cableone.net)

- The encampment site is located on the Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center in Gulfport, MS. Once you arrive at the guard gate, they will direct you to the encampment check-in location upon presenting proper ID. Please see the bottom of the e-mail for driving
directions.

- If you get lost and need directions, please call Capt Keith Riddle at 228-760-2415.

- Any late arrivals should have already been cleared through the commandant, Capt Scott Howard (nilsinenumini (at) gmail.com)

- If you have any missing paperwork, please have it together and ready
to turn in upon arrival.

Driving Directions:

-From 1-10 westbound, take exit 34A to HWY 49 south.

- From HWY 49 southbound, continue reading the directions below once you go under the I-10 overpass on HWY 49.

- Continue south on HWY 49 for approximately 1.2 miles. Merge into the left-hand lane as soon as possible.

- After you pass Wal-Mart on the left, you will come a stoplight at HWY 49 and Airport Road. Merge into the left turning lane and turn left onto Airport road.

- Continue down airport road. You will pass the air traffic control tower and Gulfport/Biloxi International Airport on the right. Stay on Airport Road until it dead ends at a stop sign at Washington Avenue.

- Turn right on Washington Avenue.

- Continue down Washington Avenue. You will turn right at the fourth red light (you will see the guard gate/base entrance on your right).

-Proceed to the guard gate and be prepared to present appropriate ID (driver should have valid driver's license; cadet should have CAPID card).

- The gate guard will direct you to the encampment in-processing location (continue forward to Building 152 on the left).
